Our Second Annual scavenger hunt was a blast, this year in our historic Gaslamp Quarter. Curated by Escapely, this activity brought students together from our two campuses on a beautiful San Diego day. Being out in the neighborhood during the scavenger hunt turned the entire city into a classroom filled with energy and possibility. As we moved from place to place, solving clues and completing challenges, we were not just exploring off campus—we were actively engaging with the spaces around us. Local landmarks, small businesses, and public spaces became part of the adventure. Laughing together, thinking creatively, and having a blast together made the experience both exciting and meaningful. It was a chance to have fun beyond campus while discovering how much our community has to offer.

Working alongside students from two campuses made the experience even more powerful. Each team member brought different strengths, ideas, and perspectives, which helped us problem-solve and stay motivated as we worked toward a common goal. The scavenger hunt encouraged collaboration, communication, and trust, reminding us that success happens when everyone contributes. Instead of two separate campuses, we felt like one united group—growing together, supporting one another, and celebrating each victory along the way.
