One of the great blessings of our ministry is the opportunity to accompany students on two campuses, each with its own character, rhythms, and community, while creating meaningful connections between them. Students at SDSU and UC San Diego bring different experiences and perspectives, yet they share many of the same questions about faith, purpose, justice, relationships, and the future. Bringing these communities together reminds us that campus ministry is not simply about where students gather, but about the relationships we build across boundaries. Shared meals, worship, service, sailing, and other off-site experiences give students the chance to meet one another beyond their individual campuses and discover a wider community of faith where they are known, welcomed, and encouraged.

Our off-site gatherings are especially powerful opportunities for this deeper connection. Each fall, our retreat at Camp Stevens offers students the gift of stepping away from the pace and pressures of campus life to breathe, reflect, pray, build friendships, and listen for where God may be calling them. For many students, retreat becomes a turning point in their faith journey, a place where they can ask honest questions, experience spiritual practices, and grow in community with others. Your support can make these experiences possible. Donors can sponsor a student to attend our fall retreat, helping ensure that financial circumstances never prevent a student from participating in this transformative experience. Our retreat fees are $260 per person for meals, activities, and lodging. By sponsoring a student, you are investing not only in a weekend away, but in a young person’s faith, relationships, and capacity to discern a life of purpose and service.
