As a new academic year begins at San Diego State University, we are delighted to welcome back returning students and to greet those who are stepping onto campus for the this new season of their lives. Every new semester brings fresh opportunities to build friendships, ask meaningful questions, and discover places of belonging. This fall is especially significant for Agape San Diego as we begin our 75th year of campus ministry, celebrating generations of accompanying students through seasons of learning, growth, discernment, and faithful community. We are grateful to continue this tradition of radical welcome and look forward to sharing this milestone year with the SDSU community.

We can't wait to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new friends each Wednesday at lunch for our world famous Kind People with Free Pizza where conversation, laughter, and good food create space for authentic community. This year also marks the beginning of a new rhythm in our ministry as we introduce Evening Prayer on Monday, gathering around a fire pit to share in an ancient practice of prayer, reflection, and fellowship. For thousands of years, people have gathered around fire for warmth, storytelling, and sacred connection, and we are excited to offer that same sense of peace and belonging in the heart of campus life. Whether you're searching for community, curious about faith, or simply looking for a place to pause in the midst of a busy week, there's a place for you with Agape San Diego.
